This is how December should look! We practically don't have snow yet. It has been snowing already several times, but every time the snow has melted away.
We do enjoy the month though... wrapping gifts, baking, receiving nice parcels from relatives and friends, and decorating the home. :)

No winter here too, when we get winter the cold comes from the north, so until now too mild temperatures, some storms and a lot of rain, but today a sunny day! Your photos look inspiring to start festive decorations, I have not yet started.....

Poistaa "joulutorttu" is a traditional Finnish Christmas pastry. It's usually made from puff pastry in the shape of a pinwheel and filled with prune jam and before serving dusted with icing sugar. For Christmas we (in our family) always use prune jam, but they are very nice filled with apple jam as well. ♥
