Compact camera shots: Italy ♥

Hello all! Warmer weather is expected also here for the next few days, but at the moment it's cold (+4 C), it's dark and it's raining. I happily look back at sunny moments in Italy with these photos taken in the last days of April.

Sunshine, temperature around +25 C, a boat neck sailor's shirt, skinny ankle jeans, flat tennis shoes (I don't find pumps comfortable :)), large sunglasses and an ice cream in your hand... a spring day in the city can't get much better...

Hei! Tämä postaus on omistettu teille kaikille, jotka minun laillani vielä odotatte keväistä säätä ja kukkia. :) Ainakin itäisessä Suomessa sataa, lämpötila on nelisen astetta ja pihan krookukset ovat parin sentin korkuisia.

Onneksi elämässä on pieniä hetkiä, jolloin kaikki sattuu kohdalleen ja olo on... onnellinen. Auringonpaiste ja tötterö italialaista jäätelöä ovat hyvä alku.

Black and White: My street

Hello all! Today I participate in a new photo challenge Mustaa & Valkoista (Black & White) at "Nauran auringolle" - "Laughing with the sun" blog. This week's prompt is MY STREET.

Now, you know I currently live in deep countryside. I have chosen these photos to show you something slightly more urban: a village in Northern Italy, where I have spent many sunny and warm years...

I post these photos heavy-heartedly  -  praying for the victims (and their families) of the devastating earthquake in Central Italy.

Postcards #12: Our village

Hello, dear all! I hope you are not totally bored with my travel photos yet! There will be still a couple of posts about Italy... :)

This is how our home village, in the province of Piacenza, was looking at the end of July.

The days were warm and hazy...

There are many castles around the village, some occupied, some abandoned, some visited by royalties, some for sale...

This small one is of my favourites, romantically abandoned-looking... and in springtime the climbers covering the walls are full of beautiful flowers:
