Still dreaming...



... of a white Christmas, that is. This morning the ground and the very thin ice were powdered with snow.




















The shortest day of the year is not far away now. According to timeanddate.com, Winter Solstice in Helsinki is on Tuesday, 22 December 2015, 06:49 EET.

After that a little bit of light will be gained every day. :)

    Kaunis sininen hämärä kuvissasi. Meille sataa torstaina ehkä hiukan lunta, sitten taas vesisadetta aatonaattoon asti :( Mutta ennusteet voivat muuttua, jatketaan unelmoimista!

    Beautiful views, we are mid, wet and very windy at the moment. It seems to be an El Nino winter. Well I hate having to cycle in snow and ice.

    The winter solstice can't come soon enough for me - it gets dark here at 4pm so Amy extra minutes of light are welcome. Love that first shot Sara.

    It likes so beautiful en romantic the snow.
    Indeed, about a week each day become longer.
    Here it is the temperature higher than 10 grades, it likes sometimes spring.

    Beautiful. Here this year is very warm. Other Decembers had snow in the mountains this year nothing: ((

    How beautiful! Here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast we are lucky to get a few heavy frosts and that's about it. I don't want a lot of snow and ice, mind you, but when it's 80 and humid, I could use a little relief lol!
