The weather was predicted to be sunny today, but the cloudy - and pleasantly mild - weather seems to continue. Hmm, it does look a little bit grey out there...
Most of these flowers were photographed in the Botanical Garden of Lund University during our holidays last summer. I hope you enjoy their colours!

Eilen nostin valoon myös tulppaaniruukun ('Sweet Desire'). Näiden pitäisi olla aika hauskan näköisiä. :)

Beautiful images. Love the hollyhocks against the window. My Mother grew hollyhocks against her fence when I was young. Nice to see the bulbs coming up! xx Karen

I love the hollyhocks the best, and have plans to plant more of these flowers when I realized I had been accidentally digging up a yellow one I had planted many years ago. It came up every year, and before I recognized it, I ripped it out! This past summer I was a bit negligent on tidying up that corner and that's when the poor hollyhock had a chance to push out some blooms before I yanked it out again ... it was gorgeous! I felt so bad that I had been missing these blooms all those years!
