Hello and happy Sunday! Now we continue our brief vacation trip. These photos were taken at the end of July.
The Øresund Bridge, between Sweden and Denmark, is the longest combined road and rail bridge in Europe. It was the setting for the 2011 Swedish/Danish TV crime drama "The Bridge". (Filming the third series started in September 2014. - There has been also the homonymous American version.)
Denmark was sunny and pretty and cheerful:
We spent the following night in Northern Germany. Next day, we visited the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen, in Hanover. "The Splendour of Garden Art" and they were grand indeed...
... but soon we were on the road again. :)

Next: Switzerland
Hello Sara,
VastaaPoistaThe bridge I recognized because I see in July the two series of The Bridge. And I found it a shame that it ended because the characters of the persons in the series, I felt great! Fortunately, so there come a third serie.
You drove a beautiful route to Switzerland! I'm looking forward to the next report.
With love, Gerry
Katselemme mieheni kanssa TV-sarjaa "Silta" mielenkiinnolla.
VastaaPoistaOn ilo seurata matkaanne näiden hienojen kuvien mukana :)
Teillä on ihana reissu, ajelkaa varovasti :)
VastaaPoistaSo interesting you visited Herrenhausen, that's still on my wishlist when visiting Germany. Looking forward to Switzerland!
VastaaPoistaTodella kaunis puutarha. Noita maisemia ja Autobahneja mekin katselimme. Talon herra oli mielissään kun pääsi ajamaan vähän kovempaa. :-)
