Ihania lumisia kuvia!
VastaaPoistaKaunista!
Hyvää keskiviikkoa!
The bullfinch is very happy looking, more than I'd be with my poor frozen hands in that weather
VastaaPoistaWinter is part of the northern landscape we inhabit, Sara, so it's good to celebrate it.
VastaaPoistaThis is like a fairytale world. Wonderful images! ♥
VastaaPoistaOih, miten kaunista!
VastaaPoistaDear Sara, such beautiful winter impressions. Have a nice rest week.
VastaaPoistaHugs ... Dorothea :-)
Timantteja lumella ❤︎
VastaaPoistaOnpas aivan ihania kuvia. Talven herkkää kauneutta. Mukavaa keskiviikkoiltaa!
VastaaPoistaSara, what beautiful winter photos!!! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
VastaaPoistaSara - so much beauty in white. I like the shadows and light in your photos.
VastaaPoistaThanks for sharing these wonderful winter photos. Have a blessed day. Madeline
VastaaPoistaStunning winter photographs.
VastaaPoistaLovely to see the colourful bullfinch, and the cheeky rascal up the tree!
All the best Jan
There's even a golden glow in winter as the sun begins to fade - isn't your last photo a peaceful looking one?
VastaaPoistaThe squirrels are probably trying to look cute for you every time you're out in hopes that you'll relent and give them peanuts. Those sad eyes looking in our kitchen window usually get me and I scatter a handful of peanuts on the deck.
xx
Hej Sara!
VastaaPoistaDu har en fantastisk förmåga att se detaljer i naturen och fånga dem på bild. Jag tror att du sätter stort värde på vår natur och allt som lever där.
Allt gott till dig!
Just simply beautiful - wishing we had snow here. Love the pink light.
VastaaPoistaIhania aurinkoisia kuvia <3
VastaaPoistaMeilläkin on lumista, mutta pilvistä.
Truly glorious, my friend. Someone said it looks like a fairytale and I would have to agree :)
VastaaPoistaEnjoy the snow, lovely lady. Hugs to you!
Gorgeous! :-)
VastaaPoistaGreetings from London.
Gosh it is very beautiful, but looks as though it is very cold too!
VastaaPoistaStunning pics of the details in a snowy landscape - and you're making use of the light (can't tell whether it's light from a lantern or sun). A kind reminder and hope you have some time to linkup to ALL SEASONS, blog friend:):)
VastaaPoistaBrrrr...I am feeling cold...you have brought the silent cold beauty of a winter day beautifully in these pictures. Are those squirrels? They have such unique ears. Awww..why was it unfortunate for the mink? Did it die :-(?
VastaaPoistaThank you, KL! :)
PoistaYes, the two adorable rascals are Eurasian red squirrels. The ear-tufts belong to their thicker winter coat.
The American mink is an invasive species here in Europe... and a ruthless predator, indulging in mass kills among waterfowl when possible. One was trapped last year near our home but another one soon claimed the territory. The decline of the European mink (Mustela lutreola), now extinct in Finland, seems to coincide with the spread of the American mink.
I've enjoyed these photos, you live in a lovely part of the world.

Your bullfinch is so nice. All the photos AMAZING!
VastaaPoistaLovely winter photos! Loved seeing the wild things, too. We now have 'introduced' Fishers, a large version of the mink that were set free around Mt. Rainier by the wildlife agency recently. Wondering what that will mean for our gentle squirrels and smaller wild things.....and domestic cats! x Karen
VastaaPoistaThank you, Karen! :)
PoistaI needed to google the Fisher. Very interesting, this animal (Martes pennanti) would be "kanadannäätä" eli "kalastajanäätä" in Finnish. Hmm, I must say I wouldn't be especially happy to have that kind of animals introduced. I wonder why they do it, when it's not a threatened species at all.
loved the question from cute squirrel .
VastaaPoistayour frozen world is magnificent and captivating dear.
loved the last shot too
Amazing images. Your photography is exceptional. Thank you for sharing with us.
VastaaPoistaTalvi on sitten upea kuvissasi !
VastaaPoistaMinulla on sinulle blogihaaste, jos satut innostumaan. Ei millään muotoa pakollinen :)
Ihanan kimmeltävät talvikuvat, ihan luntakin kunnolla! Suomalainen talvi on parhaimmillaan tällaista! Hyvää talvisunnuntaita!
VastaaPoistaBeautiful, beautiful photos! I want to reach out and touch that snow. The bullfinch looks so bright and cheerful against all that white.
VastaaPoistaMagnificent images!

VastaaPoistaHave a good week, friend.

It's very beautiful Sara... what wonderful light you have there...pure gold. But oh it looks cold! Thanks for braving the elements to get these lovely pictures ... snow is something I won't see this winter.
