A travel diary: At a hotel - Puunhalausviikko 20.-26.8.2018

Yövyin Lontoon matkallani pienehkössä hotellissa Stratfordissa. Huone oli mukava ja siisti... ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Thank goodness! :)

Eniten pidin viihtyisästä aamiaishuone/ravintolasta sekä sen yhteydessä olevasta rauhallisesta sisäpihasta.

Ja tärkeäksi lopuksi: Muistattehan, että ensi viikko on puunhalausviikko!

"Puunhalausviikon tarkoituksena on osoittaa, että arvostamme ympäristömme monipuolisia viheralueita, kuten metsiä, puistoja ja luontopolkuja. Etsi lähiympäristöstäsi puu, josta pidät. Se voi olla itsessään kaunis, tehdä vehreydellään paikasta viihtyisämmän, se voi olla pieni tai suuri, vanha tai nuori, kuten halaajansakin. Jaa oma rutistuksesi ja seuraa muiden otteita somessa tunnisteella #puunhalausviikko."

A travel diary: Punting on the River Cam

Unfortunately, our trip to Cambridge was a very brief one. It's painful to admit we didn't have time to visit for example the University Botanic Garden... :)

We did, however, have a lovely punt tour. Thank you, C. and M., for the wonderful experience!

Monet ihanat vierailukohteet jäivät Cambridgessä odottamaan seuraavaa kertaa, mutta ainakin teimme unohtumattoman hienon jokiveneretken Cam-joella.

Hello all and happy Saturday! 

Needless to say, I enjoyed my stay in London very much, but it is the small towns that really steal my heart. Cambridge is simply gorgeous - I believe you can see it even from these snapshots. :)
