Lokakuun kuvia - Welcome, November!

On aika sanoa hyvästit kauniille lokakuulle 2019. Tässä hieman muistoja säästä, kotoilusta, ostoksista.

Lunta on satanut jo useamman kerran, viimeksi viime yönä ja tänä aamuna, yhteensä noin 10 cm. Lämmin sää (+2 C) tiivisti ja ohensi päivällä lumikerrosta. Nämä koivukuvat ovat muutaman viikon takaa - nyt melkein kaikki lehdet ovat pudonneet.

Vanhasta seinäkalenterista ensi vuoden kalenteriin:

Kauko-objektiivilla, liian kaukaa, mutta mustarastaat ovat aina kuvauksellisia. :)

Kuusenhavuja sankossa talvi/joulukoristeluun sekä kuihtuneita saniaisia:

Pikkulintujen ruokapaikka avattu. :)

Kauppareissulla huomasin Roosanauha-mappikalenterin ensi vuodelle. Siinä on joitakin todella kauniita kuvia.

Tänään oli leuto, harmaa päivä, mutta auringonlaskun aikaan pilviverho repeili ja saimme ihailla hienoja liilan ja tummansinisen sävyjä. Talvi on tulossa, mutta kesän jälkeen alas asti leikattu hortensia innostui kasvamaan ja sillä on pienenpieniä kukkanuppuja. :)

Hyvää lauantaihuomenta! Sää on kyllä harmaa. Voisi aurinko edes joskus pilkahtaa, että syksyn väreistä voisi nauttia oikein kunnolla. :)

Do you notice anything funny in these two photos?

Tämän postauksen työnimenä oli ensin "Saavuttamatonta kauneutta". Viime päivien kosteus koristaa hämähäkin seitit kuin jalokivillä, mutta en ole onnistunut taltioimaan niiden kauneutta kunnolla. Tietääkö kukaan millainen hämis kutoo noita vaakatasossa olevia verkkoja, joita näkyy erityisesti loppukesällä ja syksyllä?

"All that unreachable beauty" was the working title of this post. With the foggy weather we have in these days, you can see spider webs (and they seem to be many) glistening with water droplets. I haven't been able to capture the beauty of these little diamonds in a photo... but I'm working on it. :)

I have this thing with all things green... including parsley, chives, dill, cucumber...

And every year I photograph my winter heathers through the window...

Our new bird feeder and other stuff

1. On Sunday morning, I was enjoying my coffee, croissant and newspaper when I heard someone knocking on the front door. There were some Great Tits, one of them pecking at one of the flower pots. Right, it's time to hang the bird feeder! Here it is. According to the tweets, it became immediately very popular. More photos coming soon.

2. Yes, autumn is closing in - and it's so pretty.

3. I love browsing catalogues... you know, those old-fashioned, printed ones. In autumn they look especially attractive. This is where my son buys his shirts:

4. The correspondent of My Woodland Garden in Italy has sent some photos. The sunrises are beautiful there too. Plus soon you can grow your own olives in Northern Italy as well. :)

5. ♫ Christmas Eve is coming soon ♫... and the first pair of woollen socks is getting ready. I make mainly rather simple ones, while watching TV.
