Do you remember the wonderful cross stitch sampler designed by my blogging friend Nurdan? I have shown it in this post and I also used a part of it as my header. In her latest post, Nurdan shows how the stitching project is proceeding. You can also see many other lovely creations made by her and her sister.
Please don't feel you need to hurry, Nurdan! :) The completed work will certainly be worth waiting for.

VastaaPoistaHi Sara. The rhododendrons are beautiful. We used to grow them when we lived in Oregon, but they don't grow in this part of .Florida ..it is too hot here for them. So I thank you for the beautiful memories. The sampler is lovely...what a beautiful gift from your talented friend,

VastaaPoistaYes, it's a red-necked grebe, one of the most vocal aquatic birds around here (during the breeding season). :)

VastaaPoistaYour favorite 'Haaga' is in bloom and mine one 'Peter Tigershed' is too. Love its white with brown spot flowers. This bad winter I covered it against the icy water.

Summer has arrived here too, with some warm sunny days finally (last week), but now we are back into a cool rainy stretch... But plants are growing quickly. I have been the thinking of you the last few days Sara as the lupins are in full bloom here. I am hoping to get out for some photos between the rain showers... I'll be thinking of you. Hope the health issues are not serious and things are better soon. Hugs!
