Cygnus cygnus - Interesting clouds - They bring rain - Wet branches, contrast added - Leaf buds of
Malus 'Makamik' - Mother's Day is a Flag Day in Finland - The Great Lupin Eater -
Caltha palustris - Cheating. This photo is from the last year. The birch leaves are not unfolding yet.
Thank you for visiting!
Have a lovely day!
Just perfectly beautiful!! xx
VastaaPoistaThank you so much, Amy! xx
PoistaLove your photo of hare, ducks (or geese?)
VastaaPoistaHappy awaited spring Sara!
Thank you very much, Nadezda!
PoistaThe birds are whooper swans. I find them fascinating for several reasons. They were very rare when I was young, I didn't imagine seeing them one day breeding in our areas. And they are big. I just read they are considered to be among the heaviest flying birds. When they land, they look like airliners. :)
Happy spring!
It's interesting Sara! I especially read in Wiki about these swans, it's said:The whooper swan is the national bird of Finland and is featured on the Finnish 1 euro coin.
PoistaSoon I go to Lahti and hope to see them there!
I hope you will see them, Nadezda, and will have a very pleasant trip! ♥
PoistaUpeita vihreitä sävyjä ja söpö jänis. Toukokuu on ihanaa aikaa.
VastaaPoistaKiitos, Gunilla!
PoistaOn se söpö, mutta aiheuttaa stressiä. Ainakin lupiinit ovat sen herkkua, ja minä istutin juuri omenapuun. :)
Toukokuu on ehkä ihanin kuukausi.
Very nice, your pictures - I love woodland gardens very much.
VastaaPoistaSigrun

I love the vivid greens and all the signs of Springtime.
VastaaPoistaThese spring pictures are of an outstanding beauty, the swans, the rabbnit, the drops on the lupins, the mosses and so on, I love it all.
VastaaPoistaLovely images! The swans and bunny are some of my favorites.. The greens are just beautiful. Have a happy day!
VastaaPoistaKauniita keväisiä kuvia :)
VastaaPoistaPesivätkö laulujoutsenet teidän lähistöllä?
Kiitos, Tiina! :)
PoistaYksi pari taitaa pesiä jossain tässä lahdella. Viime kesänä sain muutaman poikasenkin kuvaan, kun perhe kävi uimassa lähellä rantaamme. Tänä kesänä yritän saada parempia kuvia.
Beautiful!
VastaaPoistaThank you, Terri!
PoistaDo you have a blog? I'd love to visit you.
Nice. My favorite the green and purple flower.
VastaaPoistaSpring is such a wonderful time of year. Like you, I'm enjoying noticing things pop up or unfurl. I don't have such lovely photographs to show for it, though!
VastaaPoistaHappy Spring.
Karen

VastaaPoistagoregous photos! is that an echeveria in the 3rd photo
VastaaPoistaThank you, Amy!
PoistaI believe it's a Rhodiola, but I'm not certain. It was planted at least 45 years ago. We don't find it especially pretty (when the shoots have grown tall), but perhaps we should appreciate it more, because it's root is said to improve physical and mental performance. :)
Lovely to see everything coming back to life. My favourites are the two macro shots.
VastaaPoistaSpring is so wonderful and green! The bunny is adorable.
VastaaPoistaSara I am glad to see so much growing .....you are not too far behind us...we are getting an untimely frost tonight....lovely rabbit!
VastaaPoistaLove the picture of the swans posing in unison

VastaaPoistaBeautiful glimpses of emerging spring - with a bit of snow that keeps you on your toes. Those birds are cute.

Todella ihanan keväisiä tunnelmia!
VastaaPoistaKiitos, Tarja!
PoistaKevät tuntuu kyllä edistyvän todella hitaasti, varsinkin jos vertaa viime vuoteen, jolloin se tuli varhain ja kesti pitkään. :)
