Old photos, old hues

Happy new week to everyone!

Browsing through my photo files, I came across this group of old, scanned photos. The colours are a little bit strange, but I decided not to worry - on the contrary, I enhanced the tones to create a slightly old-fashioned effect.

Thank you, Judith, for hosting!

Tomorrow I will post lots of photos taken in these days. Spring seems to have come rather early in Southern and Western Finland, but here in Eastern Finland it's late... It'll probably be short. So let's make the most of it! Today the weather is chilly and it's raining again, but my day hasn't been useless: I have planted a tree...

  8. Ihanat kuvat! Rakastan juhannusruusuja. Niitä mummilla oli piha täynnä. :-)

  9. Love the photos and what you did - spring is early here on the upper northwest coast of the U.S. - but the temperatures are still a bit lower than expected, but everything is blooming and growing at amazing speed.

  10. Beautiful Sara...our spring is short too and summer temps are already here and very early.

  11. That was fun to give the lupins and blossoms a soft, vintage looking appearance. I like the second one from the top, they came out a dreamy looking shade of peach.
You know I have to ask Sara - what kind of tree did you plant?
Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday.

The colours are divine - tweaked or not!
Oh yes you must make the most of every Spring moment and take lots of photos to bring our when the grey rainy days are back - which is what I have here in the Southern Hemisphere today!
