In English: Hello all! In this post, I announce the winner of my small giveaway (see the previous post) and share with you photos of one of my favourite shrubs, the smashing Cornus alba ‘Kesselringii’ (White dogwood). It's shoots are deep purple-black and the leaves turn red and purple (and not only!) in autumn. :)

Love the color of those leaves which remind me a bit of my red twig dogwood (which has only dried leaves left). Enjoy your fall and all the changing colors.

Beautiful fall colors. We have some shrub dogwoods (C. racemosa and C. stolonifera), but they don't compare for autumn foliage.

PoistaUskon että menestyisi hyvin. Myös meidän sijaintimme on nelos- ja viitosvyöhykkeiden rajalla ja verikanukka on pärjännyt ilman ongelmia. Korallikanukka on vielä kestävämpi, mutta sen syysvärit eivät ole yhtä monipuoliset. Mieluinen kasvupaikka on (puoli)varjoisa ja kosteahko.
