Subtitle: Fuzzy photos taken through windows on cloudy and foggy October days
A catchy title for this post would have been "Pole Dance". :) Our bird feeder is now in a new - yet temporary - place and with some wooden parts replaced with plastic ones because this flipping adorable rascal already destroyed them.
This is a Eurasian red squirrel, in grey winter coat but with ear-tufts still small. |
Whooper swans (Cygnus cygnus) are really handsome birds and we are happy to see nowadays more of them.
Synchronised cygnets: Heads up...
... heads down. :)
If I go out, this is what I usually manage to capture...
Thank you, Eileen, Anni and Jesh!
Have a lovely weekend!
♥!
Eloisa tupsukorva-orava ja uljaat linnut hienoissa muodostelmissa.
VastaaPoistaUpeat luontokuvat taas !
Breathtaking!!! My favorite weather is FOG!!! And the swans, I don't get to see them in the wild here in Texas so those were a special treat!
VastaaPoista[ps...loved the beautiful autumn colors in your previous post too!]
Hello, beautiful captures of the swans. I like the cute squirrel mosaics too. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, have a happy weekend!
VastaaPoistaAivan ihania syksyisiä kuvia. Orava on melkoinen akrobaatti:-)
VastaaPoistaSyksy on vähävärisyydessään jotenkin kaunis, myös tuo notkea orava:) Ihanaa viikonloppua!
VastaaPoistaUpeita kuvia olet saanut. Hauska orava ja aivan fantastiset joutsenet. - Mukavaa viikonlopun jatkoa!
VastaaPoistaBeautiful swans and funny how they are so synchronized with their heads up and heads down. LOL. Nice post thanks for sharing.
VastaaPoistaSo lovely, Sara! The squirrel is so cute! <3
VastaaPoistaWonderful pictures! I see you have very entertaining little neighbors. :)))
VastaaPoistaStill these are wonderful moments to capture! Squirrels are so gymnastic! I have only once seen a Whooper swan and thought it most graceful and dignified!
VastaaPoistaYour misty days are beautiful, made even prettier by the swans.
VastaaPoistaGreat photos of the swans and the squirrel. Have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend. Madeline
VastaaPoistaWonderful animal and bird photos today. We don't see swans around these parts but we have lots of grey and red squirrels that don't have tufted ears. :) Enjoy the weekend.
VastaaPoistaTodella upeat luontokuvat!
VastaaPoistaNuo orava kuvat on niin ihanat!😍
Söpö orava ja upeat joutsenet!
VastaaPoistaVoi ihana Sara! Onko tämä teidän kotirantanne, niin kaunis...ruokintamökkikylä (tulee mieleen ruokkeen mökkikylä, jossa tuli asioitua monesti lapsena) on tosi suosittu näemmä! Oravien tankotanssia, hih.
VastaaPoistaBeautiful pictures of a gloomy day. I especially adore the squirrel what a beauty. Of course I like the swans too, but we have many of them and no squirrels here.
VastaaPoistaHave a nice Sunday,
Janneke
Beautiful autumn photos. Love autumn. Thanks.
VastaaPoistaGreetings from London.
I love those still and misty autumn shots, full of quiet. That squirrel looks to be quite a rascal! And the swans, so beautiful.
VastaaPoistaYour photos took my breath away, sweet Sara. The squirrel brought a smile to my face and those swans...pure elegance. Hugs to you!
VastaaPoistaHello!:) Oh, just beautiful early morning mist shots, and whooper swans. Great shots of the pole dancer,..those squirrels are little rascals aren't they!:)
VastaaPoistaBeautiful creatures ♥♥♥♥
VastaaPoistaDear Sara, blue goblen purse (gobelin or goblin) you asked, I didn't stitched! I bought it from an antique shop! It is almost a hundred years old.
Have a wonderful Sunday ♥
You've reminded me that the Whooper Swans must have returned to the Fens just north of here and I'll have to get to visit them soon. For the Red Squirrel I'd have to go much further afield.
VastaaPoistaHello Sara. And thank you for visiting my blog. many thanks also for your description of Whooper Swans as jumbo jets - how right you. I just love the joyous sight and sound of Whoopers taking off, in flight or landing. It didn't matter that your day was a little murky because your pictures capture it perfectly, especially the last one.
VastaaPoistaLovely series of images. Good luck trying to outwit those squirrels!
VastaaPoistaSara....you KNOW I enjoyed this post immensely!! Your contribution for us birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend is much appreciated!!

VastaaPoistaThat is one very determined little squirrel. Great captures Sara!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend :)x
Such a delight to capture swans on the lake, must check if we have whoopers here.
VastaaPoistaI saw on FB a squirrel like you always share that had been adopted as a baby by a guy and he walked it on a tiny halter and leash - it's a sweet pet for him.
Tunnelmallisia kuvia joutsenista! Hih mikä orava, täytyyhän senkin tietysti syödä :D
VastaaPoistaincredible pictures of he squirrel..

VastaaPoistaCiao Sara! I love the images even the blurry ones are truely amazing. I particularly like the last picture. It's so calming. Ciao cara.
VastaaPoistaWe don't have any issue with squirrels at our bird feeders here in Tucson, expect I suppose in the mountains. Where we are moving we will likely have an opportunity to see their antics. Love that cute squirrel photos. And that lake with the swans...heavenly!
VastaaPoistaLovely pool dance squirrel :) Nice "Swan Lake".
VastaaPoistaLots of great photos. The squirrel made me laugh, love the ear tufts. - Pretty Autumn foliage and the swans are so graceful looking.
