Finnish floral stamps, part 2

Hei! Tässä tulee toinen erä suomalaisia kukkapostimerkkejä. Huomennahan ilmestyy muuten uusia merkkejä. Kahden kauneimman kuvat ovat tämän postauksen lopussa. :)

Mukavaa loppuviikkoa ja ihanaa viikonloppua!

Hello all! This is the second (and the last) one of my posts about Finnish flower and garden stamps. More Finnish stamps can be seen here and some German stamps here

Below there are two new stamps (they will be issued tomorrow). If you are interested in (Finnish) stamps, you can find more information in the Posti Online shop.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Kohta niitä on luonnossa.

    1. Kiitos, Rita!
Ainakin täältä pohjoisempaa katsottuna tammet ovat ihanan eksoottisia ja tuovat mieleen lapsuudessa luetut keskieurooppalaiset tarinat... :)

    1. Kiitos, Kruunu Vuokko!
Minäkin pidän vanamomerkistä. Se ei ole sattumalta ensimmäisenä. :)

  3. Ei uskoisi, miten kauniita postimerkkejä on olemassa. Meillä on jostakin syystä aina muumeja käytössä. Hyvää viikonloppua.

  5. Tuon sinivuokko -merkin muistan jostain syystä hyvin. :)

  13. Such pretty stamps. You are inspiring me to think of doing a post about Canadian floral stamps! I don't think there are nearly as many as the Finnish ones, though.

  14. Dear Sara! These are very lovely stamps as well!
On the first one, those little pink flowers look like they could be little skirts of the flower-fairies. :-)
I love the fragrance of the lily of the valley so much. Their name in Hungarian is "gyöngyvirág" translated to English "pearl flower". :-)
    Big hugs to you!

  17. Ihania merkkejä. Olen vähän keräillyt postimerkkejä ja suurinosa noista minulla onkin. Odotan noita uusia merkkejä innolla, kauniita ovat.

  20. What beautiful stamps Sara. I collected stamps when I was much younger. These would make a wonderful addition to a collection. I had a pen pal from Japan for a few years when a child. I used to look forward to the envelopes as much as her letters, because she covered every envelope with so many lovely stamps. I still have all the letters, and the envelopes too!

  23. Hello Sara
I love postage stamps and collect them for one my granddaughters.
These are beautiful little works of art!
With the advent of emails and on-line banking the New Zealand postal service has cutback on mail
    deliveries to 3 a week.
It seems they are not putting out as many new collections of stamps too.
It seems Im always at the post office - sending parcels to my family in both Australia and France.
I'm off to see your previous post on Finnish stamps.
It's lovely to catch up with you again Sara.
    Shane x

  27. Thank you all for your lovely comments! ♥

I have already googled flower stamps of different countries, but it would be very interesting to see stamps y o u have kept during the years. If you would like to receive some Finnish ones, all you need to do is to let me know your address.

Edit, "pearl flower" is a wonderful name for the lily of the valley! <3

Linda, I too had a pen pal from Japan. :) I still remember her name, but I don't know if I could find the letters anymore.

Lisa, your Grandfather's collection is probably slightly more valuable than mine. :)

    Have a happy week, everyone!

  28. Kiitos kaikille ihanista kommenteista! ♥
