Breakfast?

Hello! Tuesday is the MakroTex photo challenge day! This week's theme is breakfast.

What you see here is not (all) the truth of my breakfast...  I don't drink my coffee black, but I think in photos a black coffee looks better than a caffè latte.  Secondly, these photos were taken at noon, because it's November and it's still dark outside when we Finns have our breakfast. :)

Not very happy with my breakfast photos, I posted only three of them. To cheer myself up, I add some photos of our "autumn lights". It's not long before we can put up the winter/ Christmas ones. :)

And we already have snow!

♥ Wishing you a serene day. ♥

  3. You have beautiful dishes. Taking photos of food (anything) is a real challenge, at least in my opinion. Nice photos of different lights. Enjoy snow!

Kauniita kuvia!

  6. Hi, Sara! Pictures are fantastic as usual! And your breakfast photos are great, although I also don't like black coffee that much and would go for caffe latte :)
And it is great idea to have "autumn" lights before you can decorate house with the Christmas ones. At this time of the year any lights are very much appreciated.

  12. That is also one of my first things in the morning, a cup of coffee and a sandwich.
And the pictures of the snow and the lights are beautiful. We have not every winter snow! It is always a fairy tale, although it can also be tricky. I think you are more accustomed to?
I wish you a good day.

    With love, Gerry

  13. Lunta, oi ihmettä ! Täällä etelässä sataa tänään vettä.

    Kauniita astioita, tunnelmallisia valoja.

I don't have time to participate in this week 's breakfast challenge.
I have too much on my plate, as it were ;) Maybe next week... We'll see.

  18. The color of your dishes is deep and rich - beautiful. I know that the snow lingers long into spring in Finland, but how lovely it is now with the autumn lights glowing on it.

  19. I need a cup of your hot coffee to warm me after looking at those lovely snowy shots. Looks so cold!! The lights remind me that Christmas is coming!
    Stay warm :)

  20. I love you autumn lights.

Really would not fancy cycling to work in that snow!

  21. You have a fair bit of snow already and I imagine it will stay now. The dusting we had is long gone with mild temperatures lately.
I agree, a black coffee or tea is more photogenic, something I should remember myself.
Seasonal lights do add to the ambience don't they? I miss the icicle lights I hang in my kitchen window when it's time to take them down. I'd love to find some pastel ones to have up for spring and summer.

  23. I love your breakfast photos, especially the first one. For me, the first picture looks like my breakfast, black coffee only. To sip hot black coffee while gazing out at the scene you see would be wonderful. Beautiful.

  24. I like the second breakfast photo best. We are lucky enough not to have snow just yet, but it is coming soon...

  25. It's dark here too, when I have my breakfast, but probably not as dark as there. We had flurries of snow yesterday, but nothing like what's yet to come. Your photos are pretty. I like the sweet little pitcher!

  26. Kahvi kyllä on aamun piriste. Itse tykkään myös siitä maitokahvista ja myös sen kuvaamisesta. Kauniit kuvat.
